Just as the candidates for Littleton City Council and mayor are heating up their campaigns, another candidate has entered the previously uncontested District 1 race.
Darren Lemorande, a local resident, is seeking to offer District 1 residents an alternative option for the council seat, running against Merrill Stillwell.
District 1 in Littleton encompasses the city’s northwestern area, which includes both Arapahoe Community College and Hudson Gardens.
Colorado Community Media asked Lemorande the same questions asked of the other candidates running for council, regarding what issues affect residents the most and what his priorities are if elected. Here are his answers.
